Back to School Recipe: “Teacher’s Pet” Apple Treats0 Reviews
Apples are officially in season! Yum. Apples are a super healthy treat for both humans and dogs. They’re not only a great source of fibre, vitamin A and vitamin C, they help clean your dog’s teeth and freshen their breath. They also make the perfect back-to-school snack.
With all this in mind, we wanted to find a great dog treat recipe made with apples. Lola the Pitty had just the thing we were looking for – a delicious recipe for ginger apple dog treats! Ginger apple dog treats recipe
1 cup brown rice flour
1/2 cup apple, finely diced
2/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
1/2 tsp fresh ginger (finely minced) or 1 tsp of ground ginger
1 tablespoon coconut oil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Thoroughly mix all ingredients together. Roll mixture out on a floured surface to approximately ¼ inch. Cut into desired shapes, place on a baking sheet coated with non-stick spray. Bake for 25 minutes, let cool and serve.
