Add this homemade dog food recipe to the list of healthy treats for your pet:
- 1 apple, thinly sliced (make sure there are no seeds)
How to make it
Pre-heat your oven to 175° F. Wash the apple and remove the core before cutting thin slices. Lay the apple slices on a baking sheet and let them dehydrate in the oven for about 5 to 6 hours. Once done, let the slices cool before storing them in an airtight container.
If sealed properly in a cool and dry place, these apple bites can be kept for about 6 months. If you’re planning to store them longer, keep them in the freezer.
Healthy, homemade, and yummy!
